Amazing Community, Poor Support, Huge Potential

The residents and staff in the community are amazing. Good health insurance. Everyone in the community really works hard and it's a great team environment.

Cons

Corporate support or ISL support desperately needs help. Requests go unanswered. Accounting support misses ACH requests because they do not have the bandwidth to pull them. Systems are very old-school. Count on spending your day updating in one system, then adding it to multiple spreadsheets. Zero procurement or supply chain controls. Lots of wasted time due to antiquated business procedures. Lots of days printing invoices, scanning invoices, coversheets, then batch uploading the coversheets and invoices to attach to the invoice record. My favorite quote from support "I think we have a workaround for that."

Pros

Solstice is full of fantastic regional support that is always willing to lend a hand, and the communities are led by amazing leaders that truly care for the associates and residents. Solstice has amazing culture that each executive demonstrates each day. The community teams are so wonderful to the residents, and their decisions are based on what is best for the residents. This is a company that is fun to be a part of and offers rewarding work. I am very proud to work to be on the Solstice team.

Cons

Expectations are high, but the support team offers realistic time frames for success.
