Pros

-Some of the individuals I worked with genuinely made the job feel worth showing up for -My manager genuinely cared about her staff and was one of the better bosses I've ever had

Cons

-The pay is too low for the amount of mental and emotional energy this job requires -Training is inadequate for what's expected of you -The interview process did not prepare me for the reality of the job. You may be assigned to work alone with clients who have documented histories of violence and sexual aggression. -High turnover, unprofessional coworkers, and a culture that seems indifferent to fixing either -The impact on my mental health was significant and lasting
