Met some cool people working here.

Cons

Management sucks, company reduced commissions after getting invested in by a large hedge fund, turned corporate as hell. Executive levels had bull crap reasons for the change, caused a mass exit of a whole office. They cut pay for all sales people during a tough time in the economy, while competitors gave raises. Don't work here if you know nothing about freight brokerage, if you're looking for a resume builder go somewhere else. They toss out accounts when former employees leave, so you will need to brown nose the manager for those and hope the accounts don't suck. Too saturated of an industry, very competitive. Crap pay with their structure even if you can manage to pull onto commission.

Pros

My time at IEL has been great because of the training & support from management. It is some of the best that I'd day I have experienced. You aren't expected to have it all figured out immediately & the training outline is constructed well. Sales has great pay potential through commission which is split into tiers. Career advancements in other departments as well!

Cons

Logistics industry is often 24/7 or after hours in some form. Sales is tough, bigger company leads to longer looks for leads. High call volume but that should be the expectation.

Crazy work hours even when you're clocked out you will be taking calls, high stress environment
