I Wish I Never Left This Company

Pros

The hardest decision in my life was having to leave this company due to unfortunate personal health issues. I am going to speak from the heart so it is important for all new and potential employees to read this. It doesn't matter if you're an intern in college, no experience in logistics, have zero sales experience, or have worked as a seasoned sales executive for 20 years. This job is for anyone who wants to make money and wants to work and have fun doing it. I've was fortunate enough to have trained several brokers and some of the best ones had zero sales experience. What they had was drive. Don't ever feel like you aren't good enough. The recruiting team does such an amazing job to where I could never understand how so many people could work in one office with no egos making the money these brokers do. I was expecting attitude and instead I found a bunch of guys and girls from all walks of life that finally found their place to make money for the hard work they do. You get what you put into it and it will change your life forever. I had the opportunity to go to work every day and see smiles every day. The leadership team and management is always working to find new ways to help everyone succeed. You have everyone around you to help you and you have the opportunity to move at your own pace. It's a marathon not a sprint. You always hear a company say, "we are a family". I can honestly tell you, at IEL, it IS a FAMILY because they care about everyone that walks in that door as an employee. I still reach out to those people today. You HAVE to want to work though. You can find a work / life balance here even though it's not a 9-5 job. If you want to make money, have a great positive attitude, and work hard then this is a life changer. If you have the opportunity for an interview, I highly suggest you take it and don't be afraid to ask questions. Be yourself and if you work hard, let them know. Then show them. You will have the support from every branch and everyone around you to help you succeed. I hope this helps a little. I felt it was important as a former employee to share this information. Good luck and work hard!

Pros

Relaxed dress code, Great people to work with....That's about it

Cons

I'm not going to dive into everything, because, honestly Glassdoor is asking me to do this to get on with my application. BUT I will say this. I'm not a negative nancy that's bitter about my experience. I'll just be real. MOST of the negative reviews you see about this company are 100% accurate. It is very much a "Bro" atmosphere. I worked in the Nashville office. Management was non-existent. Meaning our managers worked out of Cincinnati and came down every month or so. Be prepared to kiss their rear ends when they are in the office if you want to make it. The brokers that are making it were handed their accounts from people that were fired/left. Those accounts were not distributed equally. They were given to the people who sucked up to management and were in "the circle" (just like previous reviews mentioned). Goals are a joke, as are plans to help you hit them. I'm moving on, but this wasnt a pleasant stop on my resume. I should have known better based on what I read on Glassdoor before I started. I figured those reviews were from bitter people.... Like most negative reviews on here are. They werent. It's real. If you are a rear-end kissing millennial (no offense to millennials, but most of the reps in the Nashville office are) that can put up with the most absurd ambiguity then take this job. Otherwise, stay away. I look forward to Integrity's response below.

At Integrity Express Logistics all members of our sales team are made aware of performance expectations and are provided with the coaching and tools needed to become successful. Our sales roles are both challenging and fruitful – but most certainly are not for everyone. As we continue to grow, we also continue to learn from and improve upon remote management and leadership. Additionally, our employees continue to become more and more diverse bringing different experiences and expertise to help develop our growing team. We would like to address that most members of our sales team have built successful books of business on their own accord, and we would never want to tarnish their hard work with the notion that they were simply handed business. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
