Pros

Inter-Con pays more than most security companies. Yes management, and guards themselves can use some upgrading. It's work. They respond to on on one, face to face inter-action. I feel that they do bend to try and accommdate the average guard. After telling them how I will respond to their actions. I have had nothing but positivity from everyone at Inter-Con. They respect me, I respect them. I like working for Inter-Con. It pays the bills to.

Cons

Our upper managers are snobby but approachable. I question some of the people that they hire.

Cant see any! Gave up a 40 hour a week post for the promise of higher pay and all the hours I could want(for SCE). What I got was 24 hours in 10 days, and still no promise for the rest of the week. Schedulers, dont answer questions, promise you a post, then when you call in to get the hours, you are told its already been filled. Very dissapointed, wish I had stayed with my other post.....

Cons

Name it.........no hours, ask you to drive outrageous distances, scheduling in non-exsistant. No matter what you tell the recruiter, they want you to go where and whenever they send you...if that happens. if you want to put your life on hold, sit around and hope you get work.....g oahead sign up........

It is a lot of friendly guards and the pay is okay....The job is very easy and working for SCE you learn a lot.

Cons

No Vacation pay, No sick pay, The management take for ever post you. You have call them like a damn stalker
