Pros

The pay is good. Supervisors are competent. Atmosphere is welcoming.

Cons

Supervisors and leaders need to try and get to know the officers a bit better so as to know how to place them in the job sites. Some supervisors tend to take things personal and “punish” officers that does not want to accept shifts or hours giving by cutting down the hours or not approving shifts picked by officers. Every officer should be treated fairly.

On Boarding Process

Pros

On Boarding with Inter-Con from the Sunnyvale Hotel was awesome. I completed my application online and received instructions to bring my current identification, social security number, diploma, certifications credentials, security guard card, birth certificate, and passport. I was interview by one of Inter-Con Human Resource Representative, Keishawn and hired on the spot. Next, I was scheduled for training. The trainer's name is Nick. In four hours of training, I received a wealth of information, including my uniform 2 pair of pants, six shirts, belt, two in one jacket and shoes. At the same time, I received two apps for business purposes. After training, I received a call for shift and scheduling choices. I was able to select my own schedule and shift. I am pleased with the On Boarding Process.

Cons

On the downside, I believe employees spend too much time and resources terminating and seeking new hire, instead of monitoring and coaching employee.
