Mixed experience, several contradictions within the company and micromanagement is key

Pros

Overall the corporate office is staffed by friendly people. Overall compensation is good with free medical insurance for managers and full time employees.

Cons

Heavy micromanagement from above the property level. However, most of this is done remotely through technology, serious disconnect as far as face to face interaction and knowing the hotel level team members. Company has very strict rules as far as hiring which includes family members not being eligible to work at the same hotel. However, the home office is heavily populated by the owner's family members. A new focus on building and opening new hotels when they seem to struggle with the process leaves serious doubt about the company's financial stability.

Pros

Was a small company that felt like family. Easy advancement and growth. Was Proud to work for them.

Cons

Now they are Too Big and Too Greedy. They forgot about those who dedicated years to growing the company.
