Pros

This company is very fair, and I always enjoyed my interactions with corporate workers. They all were so friendly and helpful, whatever the issue. IMM really tries to take care of their staff, regardless of their salary or position in the company, and they truly care about their employees. Everyone gets a wage way above minimum to start out, it's hard not to get a raise. Everyone also gets the chance for paid health insurance through the company, which is amazing. Working in a hotel is a very demanding job, and they show their appreciation every chance they get. It was my decision to leave, but I would work for IMM again in a heartbeat, which says a lot about how truly kind and caring this company is.

Cons

There should definitely be more training for managers. Hotel work is hard. It's almost impossible to have a work/life balance unless you have a solid team. Turnover can be high, so this can lead to managers having to cover odd shifts. Also hard to grow in the company depending on what position you fill.

Pros

Working with InterMountain you will be able to be creative and given the ability to lead your team independently. While every company is driven by results, InterMountain understands this and puts a large emphasis on supporting their teams. You will be given ample training with an abundance of resources, this will help the processes make sense and allow you to focus on what really matters, the guests. The people that work here are what make InterMountain who it is, they are all great. If you are deciding to join InterMountain, you are making a good choice, you will be developed, given the opportunity for advancement and well taken care of.

Cons

Every company has their shortfalls, however InterMountain focuses on breaking down the barriers. There aren’t any cons I can provide.

Pros

Local team was wonderful - in spite of Intermountain Managements lack of professionalism.

Cons

Inept in every conceivable way. Morale throughout the company is abysmal, they are without vision, metrics are uniform across markets creating constant round peg/square hole frustrations, lack of training for both management and entry level employees. Unless you are going to work in the Monroe, LA office (which I understand is quite nice), run, don't walk away from a job opening with these guys.
