Turnover at the General Manager level is ludicrous, so much so that they stopped sending out emails informing when someone left because it was so demoralizing. The company has no clear leadership, all major decisions are decided by a trio of 3 people; significantly slowing down the decision making process (two of whom I might add have never held any position in a hotel). They terminate associates (from the top down) more than any other company I have ever worked for, they fire first and ask questions later. I'm a great employee and I still worry after the stories I've seen and heard! Kind of a culture killer!

Heavy micromanagement from above the property level. However, most of this is done remotely through technology, serious disconnect as far as face to face interaction and knowing the hotel level team members. Company has very strict rules as far as hiring which includes family members not being eligible to work at the same hotel. However, the home office is heavily populated by the owner's family members. A new focus on building and opening new hotels when they seem to struggle with the process leaves serious doubt about the company's financial stability.
