Pros

Really fun, talented team. Runs really fast, but since it has a clear mission and vision around building faculty centric highly adopted / utilized technology - it really seems to work. High renewal rates demonstrate Higher Ed clients love this Company. Management is young, dynamic and cares about providing expansive career opportunities. Most people start in scholar services and then feed into other parts of the organization where they can experience new responsibilities and be in control of their own career path. Company excels in executing on product vision and market vision - which is rare. Engineering team and product strategy group are strong, Marketing is creative and works magic, Customer Success and Scholar Services are passionate, talented and hard working, Sales machine is simply impressive and interestingly feeds input back into product to ensure that the Company is solving big customer challenges. Really functional fun place to work.

Cons

Some times I feel we run too fast. CEO and Founder/President have laid out a strong market vision, and push pretty hard to get there.

Pros

The team is lead by a group of people who are exceptionally passionate about the higher-ed market and the critical role education plays in the US and around the world. Our team is also investing time, money, and talent to build one of the best places to work in the DC metro area.

Cons

I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the company, team, or culture, we're one of the good ones.

Pros

Great location in downtown D.C.

Cons

Run by a junior exec team that don't know how to lead. The company lacks a clear vision forward. Don't be fooled by the list of current clients - most are not referenceable and in name only for the sake of the logo. Total smoke and mirrors. Sales goals are not based in reality and are consistently missed. The strategy seems to change daily. They don't seek actual talent, simply bodies to promote the image of progress. They fire at will regardless of performance and don't value people. It is a revolving door. Unless you are desperate, stay away!

Interfolio Response
9y
Thank you so much for your feedback. I understand that you didn’t have a great experience at Interfolio and want to take the time to respond because our turnover is remarkably low and we value all input, both positive and negative. It’s true that working in an earlier stage dynamically growing environment demands lots of flexibility in order to adapt to rapid change and growth, and that can be challenging. I stand by the talent that we’ve diligently hired and onboarded, as well as the incredible work that the team puts into the company’s vision everyday. As a faculty first organization, we're all working together to build great technology to help faculty be more productive and spend more time on teaching and research. Since we grow through constructive feedback, I take your review and the concerns you highlight seriously.
