Talk of improving salaries/benefits.....for the last year or so But there really isn't much that you can consider a pro.

Cons

LONG hours. Work is not valued by middle or senior managment. Benefits are very low rent. Hourly get better. Little opportunity for advancement. Preference is to hire from outside Any skill development is self directed, and difficult to acheive considering workload

Pros

The paycheque always cashes and it is modern sawmill . Nice view of the lake . Could make a very good reality t.v. show here.

Cons

A very hard place to work mentally. Lean and mean if you have a blue collar. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone with trade skills anymore.
