6 People Left/Laid Off in the Last 4 Years - SIS Dpt.

Business Outlook

Pros

Flexible hours, benefits, fair compensation.

Cons

6 people have left or gotten laid off from the SIS department in the last 3-4 years. Management is poor and inappropriate duties are delegated to junior staff. Staff jobs (including job location) are subject to change, regardless of the union. Many people outside the department are unpleasant to work with. Supervisors inside the department are no picnic, either.

Pros

Great Teachers, EAs and students.

Cons

Administration has lack or follow through, lack of communication and you have to be an unemotional robot to get in good with them.
