Pros

Great company with excellent overall compensation.

Cons

Benefits over the years have realigned and costing more out of pocket like a spousal surcharge for carrying them on insurance plan if they have the option for coverage from the spouses company.

Pros

I have worked for IHC for multiple years in the emergency department. I am overall happy with my experience. The doctors are nice people, the emergency department is organized and people are resourceful, the management and team morale is great.

Cons

The hours of working in ED are tough. The days are long. Some nights, weekends and holidays are required. It's what you'd expect with shift work however I do think we should get paid more. The differentials barely make a difference.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. We value all our current and former caregivers’ feedback, as our focus is to continually improve our practices. We encourage our caregivers and leaders to engage in open and accessible forms of communication. Programmatically, we build deliberate opportunities to be collaborative and share feedback. Additionally, we assess pay on an annual basis, to reflect geography, and as the market changes. Lastly, we believe that a culture of well-being for all caregivers is foundational to our ability to deliver on our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Caregivers are at the heart of what we do, which is why we have invested in and implemented several programs and resources to help caregivers enhance their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial health. It’s important that every caregiver feels secure, supported, and safe, both at home and at work. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.
