      St. James Needs New Management Direction

      Pros

      The staff of St. James is extremely caring and competent. A great deal of expertise exists within a relatively small hospital.

      Cons

      St. James Healthcare is not in tune to the trends and rapid developments which are taking place in health care.

      Pros

      They can give good bonuses at the end of the year, and they do their best to try and make you happy. They do try and give the occasional appreciation 'party' with food, that is always good.

      Cons

      It is such a large company, you do often get lost in the cracks. They don't have a lot of jobs to advance from and internal perspective.

      Great people. Company leadership has vision and plan for reaching it. Clear mission and commitments to carrying out that mission.

      None that I've seen yet. Always a challenge to be big and yet stay nimble.
