Pros

the pay is great, OT was wonderful, if you like working longer shifts its a standard 12hr shift. lots of different jobs you can try, night shift was fun, some people are very helpful and made shifts super easy, when they were good people, they were great. the actual job and work are not that crazy once you get the hang of it like anything else, it adds some structure to your workday without being too boring if you like a little change here and there, especially if you like work with machines and learning them inside out to run them, they are pretty straight forward and compared to other places i've worked theres no safety concern if you're doing your job and paying attention.

Cons

day shift gets insane with the heat, you have to really be on a good diet and healthy lifestyle to maintain the weight you come in with when youre on jobs like a load former. as mentioned, when its bad it was terrible, especially if you had certain cards stacked against you such as being younger on day shift, being female or just basically not a traditional white man, having lower seniority apparently means everyone can talk however they want or make your orders worse, or take your breaks if they wanted to. for example, our operator would push back our breaks until it became maybe 10 min once a day or none at all and when brought up to management they dont do anything. if youre a woman prepare to be stalked and followed or eat your lunch in the bathroom because the men there wont leave you alone and insist on being vile. (no i dont just mean flirting). at any workplace you're going to have stress and for the most part it was an enjoyable job if you like keeping to yourself and long hours work better for you.
