Pros

Some good people to work with. Most teams are a majority remote.

Cons

Understaffed considerably. There are a bunch of people that don’t do anything but the company doesn’t really fire people so the people who work are overworked. Expectation that you are always available. Management is horrible, I can count on one hand the number of good ones. Employee experience will change considerably based on group.

Cons

Working in a Manufacturing Environment for a conservative company can be rough, and you have to deal with a lot of men in Management positions. I was propositioned for sex numerous times. Most of the time, I would handle the situation myself, but one day it was brought to my attention by my Regional HR Manager that I was percieved to be flirtatious towards Managers at a conference and when I countered and described the inappropritate behavior I experienced, I was told that it was due to my appearance and my behavior. Basically, I was asking for it. I eventually left the company and now I'm in a much better work environment.

Pros

Focus on safety as a core value. I think the company is sincerely looking to improve in diversity and inclusion and other ways, it's just going very slowly. Good salary for region. Most people are long tenured and really care about each other and the company's success. The training is more than most companies offer these days and is a good set of tools.

Cons

No work life balance. Change is often actively resisted and risk avoidance/status quo is often rewarded. Lots of middle and upper layers of management - difficult to get even simple things done amongst all of the partial owners.
