Pros

Good benefits. Good pay. Employees are supportive of each other.

Cons

Many middle-aged and up, tenured employees have been "let go" by International Paper in the past few years while a concentrated effort has been made to hire younger, recent college graduates. Good experience and opportunity for younger employment seekers. However, I would suggest to those considering working for IP to get in, get experience and move on within a few years. Longevity with IP doesn't seem to be valued any longer.

Pros

The salary is decent here but that is the only thing that is . This job is all about the paycheck nothing more .

Cons

Swing shift is hard on employees and management keeps making people work on their days off . People working 16 to 20 hrs mandatory on their days off is ridiculous . HR is a joke here . If you have any concerns they absolutely do nothing and if you get sick and have to call in they punish you by holding up your raises .
