Pros

Great Training in the subject matter in which you were hired to work in. Solid Benefits plan

Cons

Work atmosphere is very 80's businessmen-like, not mush room for creativity. "You're a number" feeling when it comes to your yearly goals, objectives and merit raises.

It was not climate controlled

Pros

The company offers structure, formalized policies, career path (if at corporate), and decent benefits. There is also a degree of autonomy provided to mid-level managers.

Cons

It is working for the "Old Guard". It is not a nimble/agile organization. It takes months for decisions to be finalized. For those in the know, it is a SAP shop. Enough said...
