Pros

If you like overtime and physically working your life away on your feet for up to 12hrs/6days a week this is it. There are some very talented people here.

Cons

Revolving door of employees quitting or getting fired. Extremely loud and hot environment, frequent injuries and over micromanaged. Supervisors and management nearly constantly looking over your shoulders waiting for your task to be completed to give you another one. Work schedule is too demanding for somewhat of a life outside of work. Terrible vacation policy. Extremely expensive and weak union contract. Little to no training. Can be frustrating because the efficient good workers get grinded for more and more work, and the “lazy ones” are not held accountable for doing VERY little. People age very quickly working here.

Awful management

Pros

- There is always overtime, union job with many call ins. You will be stuck working 12s. - If on certain machine lines, can run smoothly with ease.

Cons

Same as above, if you don’t like overtime. - Start at the bottom, working as a general laborer and being forced to pick up after everyone. - Machines are ancient, it is a union job so no one can fix them (parts aren’t made for them) and no one cares. - Management on Swing and Night shift are the reason for high turnovers and people quitting. Night shift has many harassment grievances and nothing gets done.
