Pros

Flexible hours. Good product training. Manageable and realistic expectations by management. Typically well known industry brand name (CarsDirect.com). Great, friendly work environment in an office setting. Good base salary, and great pay plan (see cons). Good health/dental/vision insurance benefits options. Turnover has slowed down in the past few months.

Cons

Compensation is low for this type of sales job. The pay plan is great, and the earnings potential is high, *if* the products sell. The company does little to promote the CarsDirect name in compared to its competitors (other e-commerce automotive websites), creating a very hard product to sell. You can be the best salesperson in the world, but that cannot make up for an iffy product. The management preaches product quality, but it is very hard to prove or provide evidence to customers to aide in sales. The dealer relations department doesn't offer health/dental/vision benefits until 6 months of employment. It seems this is done to not invest in new employees that may turn over (typical in sales), so it is somewhat understandable. Internet Brands does not contribute to your 401k. They ARE up front about that, and advise you to not contribute if you are not interested, to their credit.
