Pros

Benefits are below average, co-workers are amazing.

Cons

Company really has gone downhill as of when Scott Miller took over It's an upper leadership issue. When new leadership came in and saw some changes needed to be made, instead of reaching deep into the company's values and reviewing what made this company great in the first place, they started plucking long time employees from their positions with little respect. The re-organizations they've been doing are done with little tact and poor communication, and they're promoting unqualified people and letting devoted employees go. If you are looking to join Interstate - I advise you reconsider. This is not a good time to join. Know that their purpose and values are becoming a joke...

What a Shame

Pros

Good intentions. Great former leadership. Excellent Product.

Cons

Atmosphere of anxiety and intimidation. Too many new "execs" who don't know what they are doing. Management direction changes constantly. Too many consultants out to make a buck. No appreciation of long term loyal employees.

Was excited but then........

Pros

Relaxed dress code, relaxed atmosphere for the most part. More than the usual amount of employee events. Long time team members are still somewhat motivated but.....

Cons

...the motivation is waning fast. When I started at Interstate, I was excited based upon other team members attitudes. As time has gone on, the pretty wrapping has started to unravel. As other reviews have stated, there has been recent organizational restructure and many long time, quality employees have been lost. Interstate does seem to be running like a ship with no rudder. I'm out as quick as I can be.
