The company required their professional (non-laboratory) staff to come to the office throughout the COVID-19 pandemic despite their proven ability to work remotely. Essentially a collection of small companies that compete against each other rather than benefit from their combined size. Subject expertise and intelligence are ignored if not outright ridiculed. Management governs by fear and only expects to hear “yes.” Salary is about 30% below market. Bare minimum annual raises coupled with unreachable bonus targets. Most years bonus targets were not communicated until July. Employee attitude is slightly above what would be expected at a prison camp. No one speaks or even says hello in passing. Building manager uses a telecom system to make announcements that reverberate across a sea of cubical desks to put a finer point on the dystopian environment.

Horrible culture in the sales team. Management is not smart. Department is mostly girly and they're poisoning and gossiping about you behind your back. Very disappointing and unprofessional. First weeks as a new-hire expect to sit at your desk all day in a full frustration - one will clearly tell you about your future steps, responsibilities, and expectations. They'll horrible treat you. The only acceptable way to successfully stay in the company is to brown-nose the management. That's all.
