Potentially Amazing Opportunity

Pros

This company has clearly stated, achieveable goals and is aiming at amazing things. The marketing team being assembled is impressive and, using data and best practices, is developing plans that can help the company reach its potential. People are empowered, resources are being constantly added, and growth is obvious and continuous. The PTO process gets a bad rap on Glassdoor, and unfairly so (which makes me think people actually do have an axe to grind). While the process is rigid (8a-5p Monday thru Thursday, 7a-4p on Friday), it helps create a work life balance that is unlike most other companies. Everyone on every team consistently arrives near or on-time, doesn't waste time at the water cooler or playing ping pong, and leaves at quitting time. Every day. There's no weekend work or late nights. I thought I wouldn't like the PTO process, but it has in fact helped ensure that people are focused on work and then getting back to their families. It hasn't been perfect, but working at Intiva Health has been a great experience so far. I believe in our team and think there's a real market opportunity to take advantage of. I believe in the company so much, I was willing to take a lower salary for the opportunity of employee ownership. I'd like to see the cons below addressed, but otherwise, I invite anyone who's great at their craft and ready to work and win to come join us.

Cons

The lack of direct deposit and manual paychecks creates inconveniences. The office is getting full and expansion is needed. Need details of ESOP.

Thanks for the honest feedback. We truly value constructive feedback and we are really proud of a team that not only provides feedback but participates in improving the company on a regular basis. For example, you mention our impressive marketing team - well success attracts success and our marketing team is KILLING it! Thank you for the Advice to Management - our Admin team is working on all of the above!

Pros

-Collaborative and friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to bring new ideas to the table - A place that allows individuals to grow professionally -Competitive pay -Company paid lunch on Fridays -Company paid health, dental, & vision -6 weeks PTO -Overall a great place to work

Cons

-tight deadlines -communication can be improved -this is not necessarily a "CON", but Intiva is a place where people are accountable for their work and are expected to contribute 110% of their efforts---if you are not ready to do that, then this might not be the right place for you.

Tight knit team

Pros

-6+ weeks PTO and you can use it how you like. The CEO is adamant that people shouldn't have to ask for time off and doesn't care how you use it. As long as it has accrued, use it when and how you want! -I like the people I work with. We are a small team (hopefully growing) and even in the sometimes stressful environment of a startup, there is always joking, smiles and positive attitudes. -This company is heading for a big moment that can potentially be rewarding for everyone on the team. Even if the stars don't align, the experience gained here can really add to someone's career trajectory. -To add to the above, almost everyone here has a specific role, but because of the nature of business environment, we all flex and learn how to excel at new tasks. -Can't speak for everyone, but I am satisfied with my salary.

Cons

-Small team with big goals can sometimes be a stressful environment. -Pretty rigid when it comes down to being late or leaving early (down to the minute), however the justification is the large amount of PTO accrued. If you are late, use PTO. While not always ideal, they lay it out pretty plainly with the job offer. -Can be a tough spot to work and criticism is not held back. But if you understand that we are all in it together and the criticism is to help us all get better and make the business successful, you will be fine. If you need handholding and constant reassurance, might not be the best place for you. -As the previous review stated, take the super negative reviews with a grain of salt. I actually brought up the negative reviews in my interview several months ago. It is my opinion that these are people who were either asked to leave the company for performance or left because they couldn't play by the rules that are so plainly laid out.
