I could work from home as much as I wanted and was arguably overpaid for the role I was in.

Cons

There was a lot of attrition whilst working there in all the departments, so it was difficult getting guidance as most people were new. I was remotely managed, given little work, but still asked to punch time cards. In my team directly, there were some talented people, but they were unmotivated due to the shouting and antagonistic culture of the more tenured, but less capable, senior staffers. It was probably the least professional place I've ever worked and it was not unusual to get harassed via email or on team calls, for no other reason than colleagues trying to demonstrate their authority.

Pros

Intralinks is a strong company under good management with excellent prospects for growth in the collaboration software market. The company has a leadership position in financial markets with their virtual data room product used in M&A deals. Under current management this business is growing and taking market share. Over the last couple of years management have invested heavily in the enterprise colllaboration (sync and share) space. This is a crowded market, but Intralinks' heritage supporting highly regulated, strategic transactions gives the company a unique perspective that resonates with security-conscious customers.

Cons

This is a fast-paced environment undergoing a lot of change - full of potential but not for everyone. The commute to Charlestown can be tough.
