Pros

You will learn a lot. You are expected to prepare tax returns for every state and you will learn to research to find your own answers. They have many tools to assist you and rely on AI for many things. Great 401k matching. Get free TurboTax software for yourself. If you work another job, lots of night and weekend shifts available.

Cons

Although they say hours are flexible, they aren't. You sign up for hours based on company need and all the normal work hours are usually gone so you work nights and weekends. No shift differentials. We are told to use AI but we can't rely on it to be accurate, so really not much assistance. They have many tools to make the job easier, but learning how to use them all can take a long time. In order to do your job, you need at least 3 large monitors. They supply a laptop and one monitor if you can get it.

Pros

Pay, benefits, the individuals within the company

Cons

Poor leadership, doesn't know what they're doing. User experience isn't a priority for leadership, just jamming AI into anything and everything. Research leadership making poor decisions and then throwing ICs under the bus when their poor decisions don't pay off.
