Pros

They forced us to either quit or take a call center job so customer still speak with people in America and no one is yet to be notified their bookkeeping is outsourced.

Cons

We were told they were so much more qualified than us because they have EA and Degrees in India, which typically don’t translate to America, the timelines are extended because they work when we are sleeping, and they either outsourced our jobs and our options were to “quit” or be made part of a call center that really isn’t bookkeeper but 100% customer service roll. They also told us the roll change was months out, then moved it to weeks, then we came in and had no clients one morning. Management communication was terrible. Leadership isn’t discussing anything just making changes without communicating and without warning and no training, just throwing us in deep end and then think culture will improve. And saying well to move up, you should take on additional rolls and be Gumby. Toxic work environment and poor leadership. Culture has issues from top down and they blame people who they continue to jerk around and just tell us to be by like that’s the solution for repeated poor culture. You can’t have balance when management won’t do anything about toxic leadership and toxic coworkers. People can literally say almost anything they want to someone without repercussions but a “discussion.” Repeatedly I have been subjected to hostile work environment created by my managers and when brought to them they refused to handle it. I was told to confront coworkers and when I confronted them, I was told it wasn’t professional. Had to have repeated meetings with manager that was completely unprofessional with me and her manager told me to read a book on management rather than addressing it. My direct manager told me not to report it to HR if I ever wanted to be promoted.
