Pros

The benefits and hourly pay are incredible! Having your own private desk. Working with tons of support. Training is exceptional. Can get time off quickly. Lots of perks.

Cons

The loudest call center I have ever been at. People will break out in loud singing, talk or yell across the floor, all while you try to talk to a customer, professionally. Even with noise cancellation head phones, it is still obnoxiously loud! It isn’t loud due to people chatting on the phones but due to the people who conduct loud conversations and laughter any time they feel like it, in the name of “having fun!” It is an open concept call center. No part time available. Can feel a bit cultish at times or pushy with being a family just because we work together. Too much demand for the pay. The pay is good but not what it should be for what you do! Emotionally draining. Integrate with not just one payroll software program but at least 10. There is wayyy to much trouble shooting and it doesn’t get easier with time. Even with excellent pay, benefits, and support, I couldn’t handle the work load or work environment noises. I felt exhausted on my days off trying to recuperate.

Pros

-Pretty good Pay -Decent wlb -nice campus -cool gym -busy during peak tax season followed by Down time -Possible launching pad to betterJob

Cons

Everything that has been said about being a contractor are 100%true. You are treated as lesser than compared to ft people.Don’t believe a single word your recruiter or your Intuit manager tells you. They will lie through their teeth about the terms of your Contract and whether you have any chance in hell or being a full timer. If you take this contracting job go in eyes wide open, maximize your time here and apply for better opportunities as soon as you can. Also annoying is full timers bragging about their benefits right in front of contractors. And yes I too have witnessed blatant disgust shown toward contractors
