Pros

My employment at Intuit thus far has exceeded any expectations that I had prior to on boarding and working here. I can honestly say that everything that HR and the trainers talked about sounded very "kool-aidish" at first but that isn't the case as this place lives up to everything. Intuit is the real deal thus far and I'm glad to be a part of my BU and work group. - Work/Life balance is phenomenal, if I need time off getting it is NOT like pulling teeth and is relatively easy to get. - Management genuinely cares about their employees, I am thankful for this and the fact that I have a great manager who is willing to help me whenever I need it. - I'm in a sales position where I'm rewarded handsomely for my efforts, and I'm not micromanaged or treated poorly on the rare occasion that I miss goal. - I work with amazing people from the top to bottom of the organization. My work group is an awesome mixture (boomers, gen-x'ers, and millennials) and we learn, grow, and execute together not to mention we support one another when needed. The people are work with are second to none! - Sr. Leadership at my office is approachable which is cool I feel like if I need anything I can easily go to either my manager or her manager for anything which is a breath of fresh air. - The benefits are outstanding. - Our local Sr. Mgr is working to grow the site with better opportunities which is appreciated. - We care we give back, this is not just an act or something that gets talked about we always have some sort of activity taking place on site which benefits the community which is awesome!

Cons

- The fear of annual re-org's/layoffs is evident throughout my work site. - It'd be cool if more technical/analytical opportunities were available in Fredericksburg. As you can see the Pros clearly outweigh the cons. No place is exactly perfect but this is the closest that I've found.

Pros

Great benefits, great gym, good cafeteria, nice co-workers

Cons

Company is crawling with mid-level and senior managers that honestly don't have a clue about technology. Routinely you'll see SMEs overruled by managers that don't even understand the basic underlying concepts. If you actually want to accomplish something this isn't the place for you. If you want to just kick back and take the money, this is the place. They preach culture and values, all while running a massive tax fraud scam lolol. Good folks.

Pros

Strong mentorship, high impact, interesting projects, great people. Overall great place to learn and grow. Highly recommend reaching out to Intuit as a place to start PM career. Technical expertise is desired, but not required

Cons

Every August, for the past several years, Intuit has a giant re-org which shakes up the entire company. People get laid off, BU's get switched, and morale drops.
