Great company benefits, going through internal changes

Pros

Great benefits -- health plans, salary, bonuses, RSUs, healthy lower-cost entrees in cafeterias. Great CEO. 10% time for innovation projects encourages out-of-the-box thinking on new solutions (but not driverless cars!).

Cons

Company is trying to move from a company of companies to one Intuit and it's a hard transition. Layoffs, reorgs, speeches, and many powerpoint presentations don't make it easy to change. 401k match doesn't vest for two years.

Pros

Good company to work for, good compensation and benefits package Competitive work environment. Management maintains transparency and frequent communication.

Cons

Biggest problem in this organization is that there are far too many former Yahoo middle managers, who have brought in the Yahoo politics and their former Yahoo employees (Pre-CEO Marissa period) with them. The reviews are highly subjective. The people who generally remain are not the ones who care about doing the job well rather they are the ones who are good at playing dirty political games particularly within senior engineering and middle management levels.

Great Seasonal Employment

Pros

Work from home, an OK rate per hour. You can do your job and be compensated for a job well done. Depending on the manager you get praise and a good bonus at end of season.

Cons

It is seasonal with no benefits other than 6% 401 K. I would like to see more year round positions. Once you master the technology and the Intuit way your season is over and you have to wait until December again. Some people get offered to stay a bit longer but Intuit has a policy that seasonal employees cannot work more than six months.
