Pros

The culture and people at Intuit were great. I worked in the payroll department working with small business. Most co-workers were helpful and fun to be around. Very good work-life balance and the company provided time to volunteer.

Cons

Lots of changes, not always for the best. Lots of politics and limited opportunities for advancement besides horizontal position changes.

Pros

Good processes in product management and engineering.

Cons

No clue in other functional areas outside of product management and engineering/prod dev. PM-led innovation. No customer service or partnership competency. Very low customer satisfaction level.

Pros

Decent benefits too cheap to cover a working spouse

Cons

Yearly layoffs, bad management. micro managers, no steady leadership. After 4 years I have not grown and it's not for the lack of trying, learning and going above and beyond. It's a not what you know but who know division. A college graduate reporting to a high school drop out with NO previous management experience.
