Pros

Excellent benefits, such as 125% 401k match, social events, etc. Flexible hours/work from home when needed Competent colleagues Fair pay

Cons

Overly focused on process, rather than results -- management often gets mired in too much technical detail and does not respond/innovate rapidly enough, as a consequence. Pay is fair, but not especially competitive. The company tries to compensate for this partly by offering generous benefits.

Pros

intuit truly cares about its customers and its employees. I have never been at a company where the customer was recognized as being central to success. Very innovative culture ... delighting the customer.

Cons

In any large company, it can be easy to miss opportunities. No question Intuit has missed several. On the other hand, I haven't been at a company yet that has does this perfectly.
