Stay Away: Where "Robot" is the Expected Employee Model

Business Outlook

Pros

• Competitive Compensation: The pay and benefits packages are robust and industry-competitive. • Mission-Driven Culture: There is a genuine sense of purpose in working for a company dedicated to improving patient outcomes. • Visionary Executive Leadership: Both the current and former CEOs have demonstrated strong intent and high-level leadership.

Cons

• Toxic Management Culture: Middle management often defaults to micromanagement. There is a frequent "meeting culture" where managers over-commit their teams to tasks without regard for bandwidth, subsequently taking credit for the team's execution. • Lack of Work-Life Balance: The culture demands a 24/7 commitment, leading to significant burnout and a total lack of boundaries. • Integrity Concerns: There are serious ethical issues regarding employee engagement surveys; staff have been instructed to avoid low scores, which creates skewed data and ignores systemic issues. • Hostile Environment: The atmosphere can be undermining and aggressive, with some individuals using threats as a management tactic, leading to a lack of psychological safety.

Pros

You get to work with a lot of smart human factors engineers and cross-functional collaborators.

Cons

Leadership focuses too much on optics. Speeches and presentations are rewarded more than strong technical contributions. We're disconnecting from the original "Patients First Always" mission.

Pros

Good salary package, stock, RSUs

Cons

No work life balance Management isn't at the same level as year or so back Lot of politics and growth is based on who you know rather than what you know Lot of favoritism and partiality. Just a bad place to be working for
