Pros

Smartest people I have ever worked with were at Intuitive Surgical, specifically in regards to technical ability.

Cons

Corporate politics and need to exercise authority too prevalent. Despite the brilliant engineering talent at Intuitive the management at Intuitive across the board is really bad. A lot of finger pointing and deflecting rather than solving actual problems or processes.
