Pros

Worked with some thoughtful, caring people. Focus on patients Good meaningful product

Cons

Exec. Leadership is disconnected from employees. They make decisions without understanding how processes work. Execs are obsessed with return to office, but there is no space. No cubes, places to sit. You can’t get conference rooms. If you’re lucky enough to have a cube it’s insanely loud. Many employee perks are being cut or removed completely. They want employees working. - yes that is what we are here to do. We get it. Exec leadership does not want anyone to have fun or joy in the workplace. I worked on many projects that went no where. No one followed up to say why. It was hurry up and do this, then a black hole. It takes so much time to get anything done. IT systems and processes are about 20 years behind the rest of the world. Finance processes are terrible. You can’t manage budgets effectively. Basic administrative tasks take many attempts to resolve. Weeks to do simple tasks.

Pros

Back in the day, the culture was great. It was about the mission, Pt first. The leadership cared, hard on the business, easy on the people.

Cons

Now it's about who can get promoted, Me not us, being a billion dollar company its no longer about the people and the mission but who can get ahead of whom and who's expense. Micromanaging, People are successful becuase the technology is amazing not because the people are great, great sales people. There are still a few that hold to the true core of what ISI was but it's rapidly declining.

Pros

-Technology is incredible and refined. -experience being a partner to surgeons and not just a widget rep. -great CEO and technical/engineering side of business

Cons

Where to begin: - Upper commercial leaders are moronic yes men/women who are isolated from any real customer interaction. Intuitive has become a dumb bro culture like Stryker. -autonomy that defined the job is going away. You are surveilled and evaluated based upon SalesForce. -Despite what we tell ourselves, the vast majority of hospital executives do not like working with Intuitive but have been forced to because we are the only ones in the segment. -Say the right things, do 5@5 and you will get promoted.
