Pros
- Making tools for makers is an interesting domain - The domain attracts creative people, so my coworkers are great - Investment in career development and growing (including flexible budgets for career development resources) - Lots of opportunity to take ownership of problems - Flexible PTO and overall good work-life balance
Cons
- High ambitions with small teams, and there's been some real burnout - Meeting-heavy culture - Older software stacks combined with a lot of changes in direction mean there's a lot of technical debt These are all items that the company leadership has acknowledged and is working to address.
