Pros

Salary was above market rate, and our small group was excellent. Many friendships made.

Cons

Company worked its employees to the bone, with little to no recognition. After the AIM/Invesco merger, the Invesco IT management was incredibly poor. No respect to their employees, which in turn caused everyone to work with blinders on.

Pros

In the Operations department, there are options to work from home a few days a wee and have a flexible schedule. You also get 3 weeks of vacation in your first year.

Cons

The office location can be a pain to get to no matter where you are coming from in the morning. Some of the management lack people skills, so when they are talking to the group, or individually, you have to have a thick skin.

Pros

My salary was very good for the geographical region I'm in. The firm was proactive about using very good technology. They seem to have strong integrity and were very honest about market problems.

Cons

They are a bond investment firm. You take the risks that entails. I as laid off because of the bond market crash.
