Great platform for growth. Very educated and experienced leadership base. Great Culture. Integration of geographies within transactional, investment and finance products has meant that the world is a smaller place for Investec employees. Open plan offices and no top down organisational culture.

Cons

Lots of employees who are comfortable in their jobs and lack ambition or drive to do bigger or better things. This is not necessarily a con. Its a personality trait however which is prevalent among a bigger employee base which is quite unusual to see

Flat Hierarchy, decision making can be a long drawn out affair, no officer titles, bonuses not based on metrics.
