Bad pay, bad managers, bad company.

not a ton of training or direction to help new hires. Its very much a learn as you go and we need you to ramp by yourself. VERY remote company which can lead to communication issues.

There are cliques in the company that feel like the "cool kids". I've seen a few occurrences of sr level people talking down to newer developers.

Lower end of the scale of pay

Sometimes we can tend to make things more complicated than necessary. But everyone's heart is always in the right place.

Mass firings about every four to five years and lower than average pay.

Poor communication and interesting management choices

Bad micromanager. Ever since the manager was replaced, team morale plummeted and ever since, everyone on the team was more hesitant on speaking out especially with layoffs that affected two of team members. Good luck moving up too because positions on other team aren't really available. Also, they moved some people up to tier 2 without really considering more technical members.
