Pros

The company is on a challenging mission of adapting a breakthrough technology to a large unmet need in the space of gastroenterology. The vision of the CEO along with the entrepreneurial spirit of the entire team in adapting to changes and getting work done has put the company on a growth trajectory. The leadership team has pulled to gather a stellar set of board members and scientific advisors to act as guide-rails as the team navigates the journey of implementing the mission

Cons

Typical challenges associated with a startup - long hours, wearing multiple hats

Pros

You get to work on ground breaking products with a driven yet compassionate team and to collaborate with clinical and academic advisors who are at the top of their fields. Working at Iterative Scopes provides an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand about a range of fields - from machine learning to clinical research to pricing and regulatory strategy. I have learned more in the past 2+ years than I have at any other job.

Cons

Working at a startup means that you wear a lot of hats, and sometimes have to put on a hat that you don't feel prepared for -- but this provides great opportunities to learn and to problem solve in an unfamiliar space. There is never a boring week.
