It’s basically a coding camp where you get paid a stipend and commit the next year and a half to the company
Pros
If you’re an international student and desperate for a job then go for it. The pay is pretty bad, after 3 months training period you’re still required to go on the market to find a client to work with. Upon getting a client’s project you start getting paid properly(around 50-55K a year)
Cons
Most of them are international and have really thick accents. It’s like school all over again, but even more aggressive as you have classes during the day and assignments during the night that are due the next day. I didn’t always get to finish those assignments as my I had pretty basic coding knowledge. - most importantly, they ask you to basically lie on your resume and include about 5 years worth of experiences that you haven’t done, so it’s up to you and your ethical standards.
