      Not a great place, Bad Management, Good products but too many now in portfolio

      Pros

      Good products Working from home office Some great and nice colleagues / friends (if they are not already gone or fired!)

      Cons

      Lots of excellent people were fired after the merge of LANdesk with HEAT Software (each 6 months new layoffs of good and experienced people from HEAT) Was not a "merge" of LANDesk with HEAT, but a "take-over" Management positions only by LANdesk people, other managers got fired Bad management or even not existing (micro management) Stupid decisions Too many products, too less advice how to position them No clear focus on product direction Also internal people doesn't understand the product direction Customers are unsatisfied about the unclear direction

      So much potential.

      Pros

      Great team to work with (can vary from team to team), decent compensation package to start with, much appreciated work-life balance.

      Cons

      Absolutely horrible upper management with no clear vision. No guaranteed yearly increments (not even an annual raise). No clear cut progression path. Just bad management over all.

      Can be a stepping stone for 3-6 months max

      Cons

      - Constantly making headlines due to yet another security flaw in their products. - Absolutely no work-life balance, with higher management bluntly declaring that they expect employees to work late nights and spend weekends upskilling. - Continuous micro-management that's suffocating. - The office is cramped and uncomfortable. - Management completely ignores employee welfare and upskilling opportunities. - Most teams are stuck using outdated technology stacks. - Management treats employees like servants, with occasional layoff threats thrown in for good measure. - No company direction. Product management and engineering management have no idea where to take the product. Just keep shooting in the dark to keep the show running
