      Fast paced, well established, org with global exposure!

      Pros

      This company has been around for a long time and I am surrounded by brilliant, talented, individuals every day. Getting the exposure of a global company and having experts all around the world that I get to collaborate with is phenomenal. The new leadership team has a wonderful direction and is becoming even more customer centric. I love working for a company that puts the customer first and really is going to deliver on the feedback they give. The benefits are great, they comp their employees fairly, and I really do see the growth potential. I have the autonomy to get work done, and the direction from management to know what to execute on. Truly is a fantastic organization with some of the best customers in the industry from all around the world. Plus, the soda machine at the South Jordan location is just the icing on the cake.

      Cons

      In the past couple of months, the company has had to make some hard decisions. It has been a little rattling to go through it at the time. There are a lot of silos that teams work in, but just in the past month those are already coming down.

      I've built a career with impact.

      Pros

      We continue to invest in people and make impact. I've been privledged to work with an amazing team with many of the same individuals for 15 years. That's an eternity in industry. Its because I love my team and the people on it. We work on new and challenging problems all the time. The technology stack I work with spans endpoints to the cloud and everything in between. I've also had the privilege and opportunity to mentoring many people in my career at Ivanti. Mentor-ship is something I love. Beyond mentorship I think we are really good at identifying and fostering talent. I've had the opportunity of building a great new team and watching them blossom into something amazing. I think we've finally got Product teams with engineering, design and PM working well with the Inspired model. Everyone starts with 4 weeks vacation (I am at 6!) Unlimited Volunteer time-off. we actually give back with things like Habitat for Humanity We have a huge base great and loyal customers. I love being able to listen to their challenges and actually engineer a solution to them.

      Cons

      Ivanti has made significant number of acquisitions. Sometimes that coupled with different goes can result in cultural clashes that people need to work through. The good news is that we do work through it. Secondly Ivanti has become large enough that we haven't worked out all the growing pains. Some processes are great, others seem to loose our edge with bureaucracy or small scale thinking.
