      Small town company turned cooperate

      Pros

      Still has some of the small company feel. Great benefits and perks like meals, snacks, etc. Still has a very good travel policy making travel not such a pain

      Cons

      Becoming a typical big cooperation as they grow. Layoffs starting to happen to make board happy

      Getting worse

      Pros

      In the past there were many, but company went over big shift in mentality and it shows when people are leaving.

      Cons

      - The middle management entrenched themselves. - They buy companies with products that are Frankensteins and a nightmare to work on - Big merger in the past that looks like it wasn't thought through - Many people run away - Micromanagement is present - No bonuses. -I can't see cenario where ones salary is adjusted to the market level over time, so nobody stays long -Perks -Tech stack, usually preselected even in green field.
