      Pros

      The company splurges on bagels every Friday. Occasionally you get to partake in the adjoining businesses' parties.

      Cons

      SDI's contracts with major studios bring in huge revenue, but little of this is invested in on staff or equipment-- overseas expansion seems to be the priority. The wages are unliveably low, and there is virtually no opportunity for career growth; instead, you grow by leaving the company. The company transitioned poorly to the WFH era, skimping on the equipment necessary for quality for post production work. I think it's also worth noting that one of the topmost company heads is married to the head of finance, and the company makes no attempt to reassure staff that this isn't a conflict of interest.

      Superiors are the worst, Raises are only 25-75 CENTS, Voices aren't heard, Unprofessional, Quick turnover, Low Pay, Editors get ripped off

      Pros

      Employees cooperate, share, and work well together. The company responds and adapts to opportunities. The company has a comfortable workplace where people have the resources to be effective in their work.

      Cons

      As with any international company, the hours are 24/7 and that can lead to exhaustion if not managed well by the individual.
