Weak Management. Giving false hope

Pros

If you love films you might get the advantage to watch them in advance while doing the subtitling and dubbing. Not a big deal, by the way.

Cons

As an employee whose based in one of the Asia offices, I have the feeling that there are bossy cultures among the management, not really willing to get their hands dirty. Often times are easily offended or angry by something that is caused by their own mistake. Employee management is not communicative, or proactively sharing important information before being asked after issues happened. And for career opportunities, they prefer to hire new people or spend money on gimmicks rather than supporting the current employees to grow and do better.

Pros

Good exposure for working knowledge.

Cons

Partiality and favoritism in the Team. If you have management support you may survive as you have back up. No proper appreciation, employees with harassments case still working and receiving awards but good working employees no appreciation or recognition.

Pros

- Nice small team - WFH

Cons

- High turnover rate - Weak team leader - Horrible work management - Nonexistent employee retention policy - No reward for good work. They would just give you more work if you prove to be performing well. I held up to 7 titles at one point - You cannot ask for a raise at this company. People have been fired because they did - The HR person is extremely inexperienced. They don't have the employee's best interest in mind. They will screw you over, given the chance. This applies to all ASEAN countries, especially the Philippines and Thailand. - Job titles are very niche, so it will be difficult to move on to other companies. I've heard people saying they want to leave, but don't know where else to go
