Pros

Employees get a great employee discount on merchandise. You get to be the first to see new merchandise before it hits the sales floor

Cons

Raises and promotions are hard to come by. Since there is typically a key holder, two managers and a store director, higher positions are very limited

Pros

great corporate discount, essentially no dresscode, valuable interactions with VP's and CEO. Good insight to the industry and quality standards. Substantial PTO allotted

Cons

Takes a very long time to climb the corporate ladder - promotions are based on time spent vs. merit/proven ability, and don't occur frequently. No bonuses, low beginning salary
