J Crew allows for its employees to develop their skills based on where they want to be, they leverage each and every team member and create an environment that you never want to leave.

Cons

Lower starting pay than most other brands in their category.

It's retail so you're on your feet for the entire shift.

Pros

All sales associates and managers were friendly and welcoming. The company treats their employees well, and there is a lot of room for growth and learning.

Cons

I have found that there are virtually no cons to working at J. Crew, besides the fact that the company as a whole is unfortunately not doing well.
