      IT is responsive with updated systems that rarely crash; HR department maintains a neutral position in challenging situations and offers more assistance in problem-resolution than I've seen elsewhere

      Management unprofessional and political; poor training; lack of accountability from management for their actions; compensation (input) is reflected in the quality of the output...needs attention

      Pros

      Jcrew is a great company and in my store particularly, management is very supportive and understanding as far as flexibility with scheduling goes. The company is great with educating staff regarding new lines and products which makes our jobs much easier.

      Cons

      It is becoming more difficult to get hours as hours given to stores are continuously being cut to cut costs overall, and as with all retails jobs work-life balance is sometimes difficult due to inconsistent hours

      Fun to work at, most people were easy to get along with. A lot of training with hands on to the clothing style influences.

      Cons

      A lot of pressure to push yourself onto every single person that walks through the door. Can make you feel like you're being annoying.
