Pros

discounts discounts discounts merchandise is good quality

Cons

It's hard to deal with micro-managing individuals who make it miserable to be at work. I'm working on commission-obviously I want to have good sales. The woman really was horrible to employees and had no life outside that store. She created a stressful environment for customers to the point where people felt hounded and not relaxed when they were shopping. She had us pouncing on people right and left. Very uncomfortable for us and customers. Our sales weren't good overall for the region either--shocker.

Pros

Working at J.Crew has been a great experience. Been with the company for quite a few years. Employees are treated quite fairly, Wages are fair as well

Cons

There's always not enough hours to give to employees. (Depending on location) I think they should be more fair in terms of promoting the right people and recognizing talents.
