Pros

great discount. decent benefits - 21 days PTO for full-timers first starting out. compensation was competitive, i felt comfortable with what i was making and later found out i probably could have asked for more.

Cons

the main challenges for me were that the company values did nothing to empower or build the associates. they were treated as a dime per dozen, were paid poorly, and barely had hours for them. Most made less than $9.25 with no obtainable bonus structure. Sure, we had a good time and met great people but after a few months working there, everyone realized how direction-less it became. The main reason I left was because the expectations were near impossible and i consistently went home feeling like i didn't do a good job, when in reality their expectations were very unrealistic. How is it possible to successfully staff a store for great customer service and preventing LP issues with only enough hours for 6 people the entire day in an over 6000 sq ft location?

Pros

The people you work with are the kind of people you want to hang out with outside of work as well. Everyone is friendly, except the customers. You feel like part of a family.

Cons

The work expectations are above and beyond, especially for merchandisers. Your hours are either early mornings (like 5am) or they are later in the evening, but either way, it is never enough time to get everything expected of you completed. The corporate management has communication issues, and can never decide on what they like, so it is difficult to know the correct way to do anything.
